Inequality

In some parts of the world
There must be some people
Who do not have food to eat
And some filled till the brim

In some parts of the world
There must be some people
Who do not have cloths to wear
And some with cupboard full

In some parts of the world
There must be some people
Who do not have water to drink
And some with sprinklers

In some parts of the world
There must be some people
Who do not have shelter
And some occupying a big house

With all these things in mind
More mindful we should be
For redemption we must attempt for
Thanking god for providing some with enough
At the same time cursing him for not providing equally

Or was it left for us to redistribute?
Equally amongst ourselves?
But who would blaze the path?
For the equality in humanity?
To lessen the sufferings

If only we were mindful
If only we are willing to share and care
If only we let the greed to disappear
The world would be a better place
And feel lesser guilt (if at all we care to feel the guilt)

Some pet dogs of the affluent
Enjoys a better life better than
Some unfortunate fellow species
Blame it on karma (that is what we do)
To lessen the guilt and to hide the greed.
